Your Privacy, Your Control

This policy explains how ListPeers collects, uses, and protects your data. We are a student-run, independent project and are not affiliated with GGSIPU. All academic data displayed is fetched on-demand and one-time only from official GGSIPU result systems, after explicit user authorization.
Data We Collect
- • Account identity from GitHub OAuth (name, email, avatar as provided).
- • Academic results you authorize us to import from GGSIPU systems. This import is initiated explicitly by you and occurs one-time only. We act as a facilitator to help you access and analyze your own data.
- • Consent preferences (analytics, rankboard, peers, identity visibility).
What We Do Not Collect
- • Your IPU credentials are never stored on our servers.
- • We do not access or modify official university records.
- • We do not sell personal data or use it for advertising.
How Your Data Is Used
- • To show your own dashboard and analytics.
- • To enable peer comparisons and rankboards, only when you consent.
- • To keep an immutable audit log of consent changes.
Retention & Deletion
You can delete your account at any time. This permanently removes all your personal data and academic records from our database. Consent and deletion logs are retained solely for compliance and audit purposes, and do not include any personal or academic information. If you delete your account and later return, your previous academic data is not restored; a new, explicit user-triggered import is required.
Important: Source of Truth
ListPeers is not an authoritative source of academic records. The official university portal remains the sole source of truth for your academic standing. Always verify important results or decisions with your institution's official systems.
Security Measures
- • Encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS).
- • Row-Level Security (RLS) to isolate user data.
- • Consent-gated RPCs for scoped access.
